Retrospective

With 2007 winding down, taking a moment to reflect on some wonderful times on the road. Not sure when I’ll have the chance to get back to Paris, but sure have some great memories.

Winter Wolves

Cold and crisp winter day – very nice lighting, not too subdued, but not the harsh light that makes shooting in winter such a challenge. I took the week off, here are some shots after a November snowfall.

Oak and Steel

Summer vacation was spent in California. An enjoyable part of the trip was the Wine Country, Napa specifically, where we visited Beringer: “the oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley. It was also the first winery to offer tours to guests back in 1934″.

We also visited Domaine Chandon, “the first California sparkling wine venture by a French Champagne house.” We drank some of their bubbly there, it was excellent.

Takes from the Chandon tour below. Cheers, Salute, L’chaim, Na zdrowie, Chin chin, À la votre.
